For everyone
Choose tickets or RSVPs for an event
Understand free registrations, paid admission, and external ticket links.
Open Events, choose an event, then open Edit to choose how guests can attend:
- Promote only shows event information without registration on gigiii.
- RSVP issues one regular admission ticket per reserved place, with a face value of €0.00 and a capacity if you set one. Submission confirms the RSVP immediately. The guest receives their QR tickets as a PDF by email, plus a link to view and manage them. These tickets use the same scanner as paid native tickets. Guests can cancel unused tickets through that link; cancellation invalidates the tickets and releases their places.
- Paid tickets use the chosen seller's supported ticketing and payment connection. Native paid admission requires a ready Stripe Connect account for that seller. A supported Pretix Hosted connection is another ticketing path where available.
- External ticket link sends guests to the URL you provide; ticket sales take place outside gigiii.
If saving reports that the attendance option is locked, existing tickets, RSVPs, seller commitments or external activity prevent switching the event to another admission option, including an external ticket link. Restore the current attendance option to save other event edits. Unpublishing does not remove these locks.
Open an event’s Guests view for the admission-specific guest list, CSV export and eligible native refunds; use the editor sections for admission settings. Access follows the existing event-host and team permissions. The RSVP guest list and CSV include free ticket registrations and retained older RSVPs, counting a transferred registration once. Paid revenue stays separate from free admission. If paid setup is unavailable, check payment connection readiness before trying again.
On mobile public event pages, use the button fixed at the bottom to open registration or ticket options. For a recurring event, Select a date opens the date calendar first; choose the date you want to attend before registering. The same options appear alongside the event details on desktop.
Optional gigiii event emails
Public RSVP and native ticket forms offer an unchecked email-marketing choice. It applies only to the person supplying the email, not other guests in the party. Registration and ticket delivery work without it. Submitting a valid form with this choice checked subscribes you to gigiii's shared newsletter audience, also used by account onboarding and settings. No additional subscription-confirmation click is required for new registrations. Ticket-form opt-ins do not wait for payment or ticket issuance and remain valid if payment is abandoned. An explicit new opt-in can renew a previous newsletter subscription; delivery suppression is still respected. Older requests with a confirmation email keep their original confirmation requirements.
You can unsubscribe through the marketing email's preference link. Leaving the checkbox unchecked on a later event does not unsubscribe you. Event city/country help tailor recommendations and describe the event, not where you live. Cookie choices are separate. See the Privacy Notice.
For native gigiii tickets, scan QR codes and manage admission in the gigiii mobile app. Open the app, sign in with your gigiii account, and select the event. The web app does not scan tickets or request camera access for admission. For Pretix tickets, use pretixSCAN.
In app versions with offline admission, open the event while connected to download all attendees before doors open. The list refreshes when you enter the event again after reopening the app or tap Refresh; searching a name also checks for newly issued tickets while connected. Downloaded tickets can be admitted or reversed offline. Pending sync means the action is saved on this device and will be sent automatically when the app is connected and active again. A ticket that was not downloaded needs a connection and a refresh or name search first.
Review any rejected sync result, such as a refund or admission already recorded on another device. Disconnected devices cannot share admissions or learn about new refunds, cancellations or access changes until they reconnect. Use one offline admission device per event to avoid duplicate offline entry. If you sign out with pending actions, sign in with the same account to synchronize them before uninstalling the app.
Event feedback
When post-event feedback is enabled, your event email may include a 1–5 rating. Selecting a rating saves it immediately; no account is needed. You can then optionally rate individual aspects or leave a comment. Another click updates the same response. gigiii collects feedback and comments for internal review. Results are not currently shown to event organizers or entertainers, or published as reviews. Avoid including personal or sensitive information. Feedback emails are separate from marketing subscriptions. Use the stop link in a feedback email and confirm to stop future event feedback messages. Links expire 90 days after the event.
The Guests search filters names and emails on the current page only. It stays in your browser. CSV still exports the complete authorized guest list, regardless of that search. Use the gigiii mobile app for native individual guest lookup and admission.
For an older RSVP without a ticket email, its original cancellation link still works. Contact support if you need help getting that event ready for ticket scanning.
