# What is gigiii?
gigiii helps private people, venues and entertainers arrange protected bookings.

gigiii is a private booking marketplace for people, venues and entertainers. Marketplace listings require an account and are not a public directory.

## Who it’s for

- **Venues** looking for live acts that fit a room, audience, and production setup
- **Talent (entertainers / acts)** looking for rooms that match format and rate card
- **Private people** booking entertainment without a venue listing

Choose **Get gigs** or **Book gigs** when joining. If you book gigs, choose whether you represent a business. Private bookers confirm their location and accept the terms without creating a listing. You can later use **Create marketplace listing** in Account settings to add an act or venue listing; your bookings remain with your account.

## What you can do

All active accounts can find entertainers and start a booking. Entertainers with Gigiii Pro can also discover venues and send eligible offers. Use the booking conversation to agree terms; bookings belong to the account and do not require an Event. Accounts with an act or venue listing can manage Events and Marketing. Analytics requires Gigiii Pro.

## What gigiii is not

- A public directory of marketplace profiles or a social network
- A payment or escrow custodian for artist fees

## Geography

gigiii is built for local venues and local entertainers in every market. Create an account to get started.
