# Manage your account and business settings
Update personal preferences, business details, connections and account deletion choices.

Open **Settings** from the account menu. The [Account tab](/settings/account) contains your identity, language and account deletion action. If you joined as a private booker, choose **Create marketplace listing** there to add an act or venue profile. Your existing bookings remain with your account. Read the deletion explanation before proceeding, especially if you own a marketplace listing or team. Use the [Notifications tab](/settings/notifications) for notification preferences and marketing consent.

In **Account → Export your data**, download a CSV spreadsheet or JSON file of selected account details, preferences, your own listing details, manually created events and messages you wrote. The download excludes other people's records, internal account data and uploaded file contents. Keep it private. To request a complete data portability export or a broader copy of personal data, email [gdpr@gigiii.com](mailto:gdpr@gigiii.com); we normally respond within one month.

Open [Business](/business) for legal, tax, billing and bank details. Private bookers see only **Business details**; listing accounts also see booking defaults, team access where available, connections and plan information. Your public listing is edited from the [profile editor](/onboarding/setup), separately from business details.

Your private account email and phone number are not shown on marketplace discovery profiles or unlocked by accepting a booking. For data rights and privacy questions, read the [privacy policy](/privacy) or [contact gigiii](/contact).

## Team access and ownership

Your business account owns its listing, events, files, calendars and booking history. Each account has one owner. With Premium and Team, the owner can invite colleagues in [Business → Team](/business/team). The invitee signs in with the verified invited email, accepts the current terms and privacy notice, and joins while a seat is available. Invitations expire after 14 days. During acceptance, you may optionally subscribe to gigiii tips and updates, just as in onboarding. The newsletter checkbox is separate from required legal acceptance and booking alerts. Legal links open in a new tab.

Owners, admins and enabled members can edit and publish events/listings, upload files, manage calendars and make binding booking decisions. Admins can invite and manage ordinary members and integrations. Only the owner can appoint/remove admins, change billing, select seats or transfer ownership. Account deletion closes an owned business only after all obligations pass the closure checks.

A downgrade retains the team and its work but suspends access beyond the current plan. The owner can choose enabled seats in Team. An upgrade restores eligible enabled access without a new invitation. Removing a member or deleting their personal login preserves the work they created. Removing a member signs them out on their next request and invalidates their existing sessions. A later deliberate sign-in may start a new business onboarding flow; it does not restore their old team access.

## Upload business documents

Talent and buyer accounts upload PDFs and riders in [Business → Booking defaults](/business/booking-defaults), under **Documents**. The event editor accepts images; it does not have a document upload field. Uploaded documents remain with the business when a team member leaves or is removed.

## Leave, transfer or close

In [Account settings](/settings/account), a member can leave the business without deleting its work. Owners can transfer ownership before deleting their personal account.

To transfer ownership, sign in again, open [Account settings](/settings/account), and nominate an existing verified member in the danger zone. The nominee explicitly accepts in Account settings within seven days and must sign in again. The former owner becomes a member and may leave. Existing contracting entities and signed agreements do not change.

To close an owned account, sign in again and choose **Delete personal account** in the Account danger zone. The same transaction checks outstanding bookings, disputes, orders, refunds, subscriptions, invoices and legal holds. If a check fails, nothing is closed or deleted. Eligible accounts are closed, their public surfaces become drafts, and the personal login is anonymized. You can unpublish a listing or event through its publishing controls while resolving obligations.

The authenticated owner can reopen from Account settings within 30 days. Retained events and listings remain drafts until you publish them again. If the owner's personal login has been anonymized, contact support to verify a legitimate successor; recovery is not available through the old login.

## Delete your personal login

Personal-login deletion in Account settings removes your personal login/contact details and revokes your access. Sign in again before confirming `DELETE`. It retains the business account's events, uploaded files, messages, bookings and agreements. If you own an account, eligible accounts close as part of deletion; outstanding obligations block the action. Personal information within retained business documents follows its applicable retention purpose; contact [gdpr@gigiii.com](mailto:gdpr@gigiii.com) for a privacy request concerning those records.
